Mitsubishi networks support different layers in a typical Enterprise - Information layer.
Control layer and Device layer or field layer.
The complete network architecture is transparent to each level and different levels can be
accessed seamlessly. As the name suggests the information layer handles large amount of data with faster speed, handling database interactions (MES Interface) and SCADA connectivity with the help of Ethernet interface module
The control layer include highly deterministic 25MBPS MELSECNET/H and 10MBPS CC-Link
and at the device level it is CC-Link, profibus and AS-i talking to the different devices.
